Note Manager — Main Window
- New Note — ⌘N
- Print Selected Note — ⌘P
- Find Note — ⌘F
- ↑ ↓ to navigate the note list, ↵ to open
- Context Menu — right-click (ctrl-click) any row in the list
Tip: Drag selected text or text files (RTF, TXT) onto this window to create notes. You can also drag exported backups (JotNow [*.jnb], Evernote [*.enex], etc.) to this window to import the notes in the selected notebook.
Notes
- New Note — ⌘N
- Show Note Manager — ⌥⌘M
- Show Open Notes — ⌥⌘J
- Show List (To Do) — ⌘L
- New To Do — ⇧⌘L
- Close Note — esc
- Dock Note — ⇧⌘D
- Shrink / Collapse Note — ⌘S
- Insert Date — ⌘D
- Insert Date & Time — ⌃⌘D
- Rename Note — ⌘R
- Print Note — ⌘P
- Zoom In — ⌘+ or ⌘=
- Zoom Out — ⌘-
- Reset Zoom — ⌘0
- Selected Text:
- Bold — ⌘B
- Italic — ⌘I
- Underline — ⌘U
- Remove Formatting — ⇧⌘T
Context Menus:
- Header (title bar) or footer — change note colors, styles, notebook, etc.
- Text area — spell check, paste, etc.
- To rename: press ⌘R, then ↵ to commit or esc to cancel
Tips:
- Change the content type to Markdown using the Format menu in the header (title bar).
- Activate a link by highlighting it and using the context menu.
- Jump to the last to-do item with ⌥↓ while the list is visible.
