Provisioning profile doesn't include signing certificate
While attempting to upload my macOS app to be notarized, I ran into the above error. To resolve it:
- Go to the Apple Developer site and find the Provisioing Profile that Xcode is using
- Should be of type: Developer ID Application
- Click it to edit it, then select the correct certificate, click Save
OR
- I went to the Apple Developer site and created a Provisioing Profile that was associated with the cert in question
- https://developer.apple.com/account/resources/profiles/list
- After creating a Provisioing Profile
- I had to select "Manually Sign"
- Then I selected "Download Profile"
- And select the newly created profile. You may have to restart the workflow for the Profile to show up.
After completing the above steps, I was able to upload with no issues.
